ACME Persuasion



This video is about the ball "ADIDAS".At first it appeals to the REPTILIAN part of my brain for its scene.We know that it is about the ball.Then it influences the LIMBIC part of my brain because of its music, action, characters.At the end it appeals to the NEOCORTEX part of my brain.Because it persuades us to know these kinds of balls as the best in the world.In my opinion we can use these persuasive techniques here:Symbols, Testimonial, Plain Folks, Bandwagon,
Humor

1)Symbols:"ADIDAS" is the symbol of the ball.It envolves our attention to the quality of this ball.

2)Testimonial:It persuades us by support from famous football players-Beckham, Del
Pyero, Zidane.The participating of these famous people here increases the might of influence of this commercial.

3) Plain Folks:It persuades us by appealing to the common men:woman, guy.It shows the firmness of the ball by the help of these plain people.They can play with these balls as the famous people do it.

4)Bandwagon:It persuades by insisting that everyone-the well-known football players, the common people, even the children can do it.The ball incites everyone to kick, to bounce, to do tricks.These kinds of balls attracts everybody's attention ewerywhere-in the street, on the bus.

5)Humor:It convinces through appeals to the funny bone.The attitude of the dog, fat man to the ball makes this commercial funny when they play with this ball.

My goal in choosing this commercial is my interest to football.I think it will persuade other people as well as I do.I hope the shown tricks with balls here will evoke interest even in the people who dislikes football.
